Title

Quality Assurance Inspector and Tester

Reports to

Associate Manager, Quality Assurance

Overview

The Quality Assurance Inspector and Tester is responsible for inspecting and performing required inspection and assist with testing on new and current David Yurman product.

Responsibilities

• This role will be responsible for assisting with inspections for First productions and audits.
• Assist with conducting in-house testing of jewelry, materials & packaging (training will be provided)
• Assist with preparing samples to be sent to an outside lab to conduct testing.
• Assist in creating reports for in-house testing and distribute reports to the Product Development team.
• Ensure all testing equipment and tools are calibrated and well maintained.
• Conduct XRF test and diamond test

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of jewelry inspection experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Power point is a must.
• Must be a team player and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, capable of drawing conclusions through the analysis of information, and ability to work independently on long term and short-term projects
• Working knowledge of PLM & Oracle is a plus
• Familiarity with jewelry manufacturing and Product development is a plus
