Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least one year of sales, customer service, and/or cash-handling experience is preferred.
  • Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously is required.
  • Reliable personal transportation is required; public transportation or transportation from family or friends may not qualify.
  • A valid driver's license and automobile insurance must be maintained while employed.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations, is required.
  • Assigned shifts must be worked as scheduled.
Responsibilities
  • Serve and educate customers by presenting product and service options that meet their needs.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations, and corporate office.
  • Answer telephone inquiries about customer questions, applications, requests, and other issues.
  • Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
  • Respond accurately and professionally to customers, explain possible solutions, and provide support.
  • Use active listening to confirm or clarify information and diffuse customer complaints.
  • Handle and count currency, cash, and coins, including managing cash drawers and deposits.
  • Balance batch receipts with store sales reports and assist with resolving discrepancies.
  • Perform customer verifications.
  • Process transactions including loans, check cashing, and NetSpend.
  • Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies.
  • Complete compliance training and quarterly I Agree requirements on time.
  • Travel to stores within the assigned district and potentially neighboring districts, including overnight travel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
