Requirements
  • Graduate of RN School of Nursing
  • Current CA RN license
  • Current BLS-Human Caring Protocol (BLS-HCP)
  • Current ACLS (Excludes NICU)
  • Current NRP (Labor and Delivery / OB Acute / NICU)
  • Current PALS (Emergency Dept. only)
  • Basic Dysrhythmia Class completion: Optional for RN with at least 6 months experience, and successful completion ofEKG competency exam
Responsibilities
  • Providing patient care in a safe and effective manner
  • Directing patient care activities (PCA)
  • Synthesizing patient information
  • Assessing patients
  • Planning of care and interventions
  • Teaching of patients and family
  • Implementing the treatment plan
  • Following MD orders
  • Documentation and evaluation
  • Integrating patient care standards into all clinical activities
  • Supporting the organization’s mission, core values, strategic plan, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Supporting organizational expectations including Customer Service, Patients’ Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of Care and other initiatives
Desired Qualifications
  • CCRN preferred
