Role Description:
As the Product Owner II, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our online account opening and loan application products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, gather requirements, prioritize backlogs, and oversee the product development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
This position pays between 80k - 85k CAD per year.
Responsibilities:
Define and prioritize product backlog items based on customer and business needs.
Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop and refine product strategy and roadmap.
Work closely with engineering teams and UX teams to guide product development, ensuring that features solve user needs and adhere to quality standards.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management, to align product goals and expectations.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform product decisions and enhancements.
Oversee product testing, releases, and feedback loops with clients to continually improve the user experience.
Maintain feature specs, product documentation, and own release notes for your respective product verticals.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, specifically in digital banking or fintech.
Proven track record of managing online services, particularly account opening and loan application processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in agile development environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
