Requirements
  • A high school diploma or state-recognized equivalent is required.
  • At least one to five years of security installation experience and network ability are required.
  • Knowledge of security equipment systems, including intrusion detection, assessment, and access control, is required.
  • The ability to install and maintain alarms, access control, and assessment system devices is required.
  • The ability to obtain and retain a U.S. government security clearance is preferred.
  • DCJS certification is required.
  • Prior troubleshooting experience is required.
  • Security industry certifications are required.
  • Knowledge of Software House, Gallagher, Lenel, Hanwha, Bosch, or Hirsh is required.
  • The ability to travel throughout the United States is required.
  • The ability to travel for two weeks at a time is required.
Responsibilities
  • Service and test various access control and IP camera products and platforms.
  • Read and comprehend engineered drawings.
  • Install door hardware.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate all project activity to the project manager or appropriate manager in a timely manner.
