- Familiarity with financial management principles as applied to logistics and inventory, including budget tracking and cost analysis for acquisitions, is required.
- Familiarity with logistics support for Department of War projects involving electronic/electrical repair, installation, and material acquisition is required.
- Knowledge of property accountability systems is required.
- The role requires the ability to stand and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods, lift and carry up to 40 pounds, and bend, stoop, and climb ladders as needed.
- Provide planning and coordination support, including liaison with government field activities and hardware contractors.
- Manage, track, maintain, and verify the status of action items.
- Provide Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) message traffic support.
- Provide technical feedback to the fleet through Fleet Advisory messages and technical bulletins.
- Generate weekly In-Service Logistics (ILS) and in-service status reports.
- Resolve supply-support-related issues.
- Support the development and updating of provisioning documentation.
- Identify the impacts of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) on In-Service Logistics.
- Serve on the In-Service Installation planning team and maintain a comprehensive database tracking installation locations, schedules, and estimated and actual installation costs.
- Provide data support for Navy ordnance inventory management systems and readiness requirements.
- Assist in managing government-owned assets.
- Familiarity with Navy CAV RP and CMPRO is a plus.
- Experience with NAVSUP P723 and P485 is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail are preferred.
