  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in project management with a track record of running digital transformation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including cloud technologies/services, networking, servers and storage.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles and risk management.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification(s).
  • Knowledge of ITIL service management frameworks; ITIL certification an advantage.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project).
  • Relevant industry certifications – Microsoft Cloud – also beneficial.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal in English to enable effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to complete assignments with minimal direction.
  • Adept in working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead planning and implementation of ICT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop detailed project artefacts including project charters and plans, timelines, resource allocation, budget management, risk log, status reports and user documentation.
  • Lead project activities within the firm and coordinate resources to ensure timely delivery of project milestones; monitor project progress and performance; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors; ensure communication flows seamlessly throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned, analyse project outcomes and provide recommendations for future projects and process improvements.
  • Support change management initiatives to facilitate successful adoption of new technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.

Feb 5, 2026 10:29:54 AM 06 February 2026 * €10,000 bursary for postgraduate studies in renewable energy in Ireland * Open to students in economics, engineering, law, planning, policy, science, and related fields * Established in memory of Niamh Burke, a leader in the Irish wind energy sector Arthur Cox LLP, in conjunction with Wind Energy Ireland, is pleased to launch the Niamh Burke Renewable Energy Bursary 2026, with the firm offering a €10,000 award to students pursuing studies related to renewable energy. By investing in emerging talent, the aim of the bursary is to foster the next generation of innovators and leaders driving a sustainable future. The bursary was established in memory of former Arthur Cox partner and consultant Niamh Burke, who played a significant role in the development of the Irish wind energy sector and advised on many of Ireland's largest energy, infrastructure, and construction projects. It provides financial assistance to help cover tuition fees, research costs, and other educational expenses. All relevant disciplines are open for consideration, including economics, engineering, law, planning, policy, science, and others. It is open to students planning to study in these or related fields in Ireland at postgraduate level in 2026. If more than one person is selected, the bursary monies will be split between the successful applicants. Previous recipients have used the bursary to study at Dublin City University, the Law Society of Ireland, Trinity College Dublin, University College Cork, University College Dublin, and University of Galway. Last year's recipient, Anna Connors, impressed the judges with her commitment to renewable energy and sustainability through her studies in energy systems engineering. Anna used the bursary to fund a Master's in Energy Systems Engineering at the University of Galway. Anna commented on the bursary: "Receiving the Niamh Burke Renewable Energy Bursary was a huge support for my academic journey. The bursary enabled me to pursue my Master's in Energy Systems Engineering at the University of Galway, deepen my research, and connect with inspiring leaders in the renewable sector. I would encourage anyone passionate about sustainability and innovation to apply." Jacinta Conway, Environment and Planning Partner, Arthur Cox LLP said: "The Niamh Burke Renewable Energy Bursary is more than just financial support, it's an investment in the creativity, ambition, and vision of students who will shape Ireland's sustainable future.
