Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally
  • Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts
  • Provide accurate information on part availability, pricing, and compatibility
  • Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Stock shelves and organize the parts department
  • Identify and report low stock levels to the parts manager
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments
  • Process customer orders, including special orders and backorders
  • Coordinate with suppliers to expedite delivery of parts
  • Track and follow up on backorders
  • Answer phone calls and provide information to customers
  • Prepare reports and other documentation as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
