- A Bachelor's-level engineering degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering.
- Six to twelve years of oil and gas experience in refining, petrochemical, LNG, or related industries.
- Sound knowledge of oil and gas upstream and downstream operations, risk-based inspection methodologies, fixed-equipment inspection tasks and procedures, inspection optimization, piping circuitization and thickness measurement location development, API damage mechanisms, in-service inspection, materials and standards, corrosion and welding, nondestructive testing, thickness inspection management and analysis, corrosion management and analysis, and inspection-plan development and optimization.
- Knowledge of asset integrity software such as APM Meridium, Pestra, or Credo.
- Working knowledge of oil and gas plant operations.
- Exposure to operating-condition safety, SHE risks, spills, safety incidents, and equipment-failure opportunities.
- Knowledge of engineering roles and responsibilities in oil and gas field or site operations.
- Knowledge of corrective and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Knowledge of international standards for equipment design, quality, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of ASME Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2, ASME Section V, ASME Section IX, ASME Section II, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, and ASME PCC-2.
- Field in-service inspection and repair of pressure equipment, heat exchangers, piping systems, pressure relief devices, and above-ground storage tanks in operating units.
- Provide technical support for fixed equipment mechanical integrity at petrochemical facilities, focusing on risk-based inspection, troubleshooting, asset improvement, and technology selection.
- Provide technical leadership and solutions for inspection, corrosion management, and upstream and downstream asset integrity.
- Create innovative solutions, automations, and methodologies to differentiate the organization.
- Perform fitness-for-service assessments, corrosion evaluations, and remaining-life studies.
- Drive Integrity Engineers to execute workflows with quality at scale.
- Provide pre-sales support for new business deals and post-sales support for assigned projects.
- Drive core team members to recruit skilled resources or train internal resources to achieve targets.
- Act as a bridge between customers, the sales organization, and global technical teams.
- Lead, develop, nurture, and manage global customer relationships and strategic partnering initiatives.
- Review technical scoping, estimation, fitment, feasibility studies, customer expectations, and solution designs prepared by Program Managers and Project Leaders.
- Evaluate degradation of pressure equipment, heat exchangers, piping circuits, fired equipment, flares, above-ground storage tanks, and pressure relief devices.
- Monitor and surveil integrity parameters to ensure reliable operations.
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis and steward integrity recommendations.
- Identify and analyze bad actors to reduce equipment downtime.
- Apply data analytics and digital tools to operationalize upgraded work practices through digital transformation.
- Manage overall integrity effectiveness, including criticality assessments, consequence and complexity ratings, fit-for-purpose risk-based strategies, optimum task intervals, regulatory and statutory considerations, timely review of inspection findings, and ongoing strategy improvement.
- Certification and in-depth working knowledge of API 580, API 510, API 570, API 571, API 653, NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist, BSI, ISO, EN, AS standards, AWS, CSWIP, and ASNT nondestructive-testing techniques.
- Experience with Meridium, Credo, Pestra, and SAP.
- Excellent communication skills.

Quest Global, a global outsourced engineering services provider, has secured a minority investment from Hillhouse Investment through a combination of primary capital infusion and share purchases from existing stakeholders. The transaction involves funds managed by Hillhouse Investment Management. The Singapore-based company, which employs over 21,500 people across 93 global delivery centres in 18 countries, will use the capital to advance strategic priorities and enhance its engineering capabilities for major original equipment manufacturers worldwide. Quest Global specialises in aerospace, automotive, energy and semiconductor sectors. CEO Ajit Prabhu said the investment validates the company's differentiated value proposition and growth strategy. Hillhouse's Sean Carney cited Quest Global's domain expertise and long-term customer relationships as key investment factors. Jefferies served as exclusive financial adviser.
Hillhouse is acquiring a 5% stake in Quest Global at a $4.5 billion valuation, outbidding Temasek in a pre-IPO round. The deal represents a significant jump from Quest Global's previous $1.8 billion valuation when Carlyle Group acquired a stake in 2023. Temasek had also been planning to purchase approximately 5% of the engineering services company. The transaction marks substantial growth for Quest Global, with its valuation increasing 150% in roughly two years.
Romanian tech group AROBS is acquiring Quest Global Romania from Craiova in an all-stock transaction, marking the company's first acquisition paid entirely through share issuance. The newly issued shares will be subject to a one-year lock-up period. Quest Global Romania, headquartered in Craiova, employs approximately 110 specialists and provides software development, testing, embedded solutions and IT consulting services across sectors including semiconductors, healthcare and automotive. The company is part of Singapore-based Quest Global, which operates in 18 countries with over 22,000 employees. The acquisition strengthens AROBS's engineering capabilities and international presence. Quest Global Romania's management will continue under Ana-Maria Vasilescu's leadership. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of the year.
