Responsibilities
  • Run special projects: You'll be assigned to some of our most complex and time sensitive projects across the business. If they require an ongoing person to lead them, you'll build the V1 playbook and hire them.
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding: We don't have an HR and recruiting function - that will be you. Scaling talent acquisition while maintaining a high bar is critical. The team we build is the company we build.
  • Help drive and measure company performance: You'll work with our CEO to help to define and track initiatives across the company to ensure we are focused and performing at our best. This requires just enough process, good systems, and excellent people.
  • Keep us organized: ensure the trains are running on time and provide leverage to our CEO. You'll ensure we are prompt and consistent in our internal and external communication is critical.
  • Manage the office: we don't have an office manager nor assistants. You will make sure everyone on the team has what they need (laptops, food in the fridge, etc) to do their best work.

Pylon Lending provides a digital mortgage infrastructure that allows businesses to integrate mortgage services into their products efficiently. Their platform offers APIs and pre-built UI components, enabling clients to embed a complete digital mortgage experience with minimal coding. Pylon primarily serves developers and companies in the financial and real estate sectors, helping them avoid the complexities of building mortgage systems from scratch. Unlike many competitors, Pylon offers a customizable Software Development Kit (SDK) that covers the entire mortgage process, from application to closing. The company's goal is to streamline mortgage origination, making it faster and more cost-effective for businesses to launch new mortgage products and enhance customer satisfaction.
