Requirements
  • A diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience in a production setting.
  • Strong understanding of assembly processes, technical drawings, and troubleshooting practices.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and support the assembly team to achieve daily production goals.
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate assembly activities to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
  • Provide hands-on technical support with equipment assembly, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Monitor workflow, staffing, and production progress, adjusting priorities as needed to maximize productivity.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Stockroom, Project Management, and other departments to ensure materials and resources are available.
  • Oversee equipment testing, inspection, and final build readiness before shipment.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing health and safety standards.
  • Track production performance, quality metrics, and key performance indicators, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Develop team members through coaching, training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, productivity, and standardized work practices.
  • Maintain accurate production records and communicate project status and operational updates to management.
