Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Workday Security Pro certification is required.
  • Proven experience in designing and configuring advanced role-based intersection security within Workday, with a track record of successful implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Workday's architecture, security model, and data classification standards.
  • Ability to analyze complex security issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Workday HCM Functional Lead to design, implement, and govern security roles and permissions within the Workday system.
  • Provide oversight for the routine administration of access rights, ensuring that the Data Operations Team adheres to established protocols and audit controls.
  • Understand and articulate the data classification and domain model for Workday's core architecture to ensure proper management and security of data.
  • Lead the design and configuration of advanced role-based intersection security in Workday, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and best practices.
  • Support the People Services team in the conduct of regular audits of security settings and access rights, with the objective of mitigating risk, driving efficiency and aligning roles to Workday to the company’s target operating model.
  • Work closely with HR, IT, CoE’s across the People & Culture function and other stakeholders to address security-related inquiries in Workday and related systems, and enhance user understanding of security protocols.
  • Stay updated on Workday security enhancements and best practices, recommending improvements to security processes and configurations.
