Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills; must be fluent in English. Other Asian language skills are considered a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of at least one coding language (e.g., Python) is an advantage.
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, being resourceful and effective in obtaining necessary information.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work to tight deadlines, and be flexible in meeting workload demands.

Responsibilities
  • Provide project management support to the CIO office for APAC Fixed Income.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and participate in performance and positioning monitoring of our portfolios. Work with the risk, research and Aladdin data teams to ensure accuracy of the data used in monitoring portfolio positioning and performance.
  • Assist with internal projects focused on presenting senior management with business, market, and ad hoc updates.
  • Support in the team across various CIO office initiatives including portfolio review meetings, investment strategy meetings, media events, and updates for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps and implement efficiencies and improvements. Own and update the operations manual for process changes and enhancements.
  • Write market and investment commentaries for investors, shareholders, current clients, and prospects.
  • Support the strategic growth of the APAC Fixed Income team.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to identify and facilitate technology enhancements, leveraging AI and technology to address the evolving needs of the global business. Lead and drive improvements using AI and technology.

The New Way Wall Street Giant Blackstone Is Trying To Reach The Investing Masses

Wall Street private equity giant Blackstone (BX) is teaming up with Vanguard and Wellington Management to get more private assets into the portfolios of everyday savers.The three money managers on Tuesday said they would jointly develop "multi-asset investment solutions" that offer individual investors exposure to both private and public markets.
