We’re looking for an Exceptional Developer Productivity Engineer for our Core Platform Engineering team.

As a key member of our platform engineering team, you will drive the design, development, and implementation of tools, systems, and processes that accelerate engineering velocity, reduce manual effort, and increase the quality of output. You’ll work closely with the Automation Engineering team within Thoughtful AI to understand their workflows, challenges, and needs, ensuring that the tools and systems built by the Platform Engineering team address these requirements.

Your Role:

• Lead: Plan and execute projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and complex requirements, applying strategic prioritization.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the automation engineering team to understand their unique challenges and build solutions that directly address their needs.
• Innovate: Constantly explore new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes and increase the quality and efficiency of our engineering output.
• Empower: Equip the automation engineering team with the tools and processes they need to work independently, efficiently, and with high standards of quality.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field.
• Over 10 years of relevant technical experience, with a focus on improving engineering productivity and quality.
• Proven track record in building and deploying developer productivity tools, SDKs, and libraries.
• Extensive experience in Python, with a deep understanding of best practices for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Experience operating on modern cloud infrastructure stacks, preferably on AWS using IaC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
