Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or two plus years’ experience in using lean methodologies
  • 2+ years of experience in process analysis, business analysis, or operations improvement (law firm or professional services experience a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to gather, interpret, and present data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
  • Data-driven problem solving: Analyzes current operating procedures and production data to identify bottlenecks and areas of optimization. This responsibility includes existing workflows across departments (legal, intake, operations, client services) & mapping undocumented processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Facilitation of collaborative events: Facilitate Kaizens, process mapping sessions, and stakeholder interviews to gather insights that will support ideas to improve current-state business processes. The impact must be measurable and meet key performance indicators.
  • Process designing: Develop process maps, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Leverage data analysis and metrics to measure process performance and outcomes. Collaborate with technology teams to recommend or implement automation and system improvements. Design and implement optimized processes that balance efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Training & coaching: Mentor employees at all levels, fostering a proactive mindset and ensuring team members are proficient in CI tools and standard operating procedures. Lead training and change management efforts to ensure team adoption of new processes.
  • Sustainability: Conduct regular audits on implemented solutions, monitor performance KPI’s and trends to assure changes are sustainable and to identify additional continuous improvement opportunities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in applying lean methodologies in a legal or professional services environment (preferred)
