Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration is preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu of the degree.
  • At least 8 years of experience in project scheduling is required, preferably in heavy civil and heavy industrial construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera Cloud and/or Primavera P6 is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Experience performing critical path, earned value, and schedule impact analysis is preferred.
  • Ability to work with estimators, project team members, subcontractors, engineers, contracting partners, and clients is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects concurrently is required.
Responsibilities
  • Support the project management team, including self-performed and subcontractor scopes of work, for project pursuits of varying size, complexity, and scope.
  • Independently or with a project team, create high-level master schedules for projects ranging in size and complexity.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules throughout the construction process.
  • Apply construction sequencing and duration knowledge to develop schedules ranging from summary-level to detailed activity- and resource-loaded schedules.
  • Work with operations personnel, clients, designers, and trade partners to build master schedules, perform critical schedule analysis, and recommend adjustments to improve schedule outcomes.
  • Ensure project schedules conform to contract requirements and specifications.
  • Participate in estimating and project meetings and provide scheduling input, recommendations, and value engineering advice.
  • Prepare and present project schedules and narratives to clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage potential risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Perform Time Impact Analysis.
