Senior Accountant-Canidate

Job Description

• Experienced with US and Canadian operations • Responsible for timely and accurate completion of monthly close reports and completion of monthly journal entries • Responsible for monthly account reconciliations • Assist with monthly preparation of written commentary for the executive management group explaining the results of US and Canadian operations in comparison to current and prior year budget • Assist applicable departments with accurate accounting for the following company accounts; insurance accounts, liabilities regarding geological drilling projects and costs and various accrual accounts • Responsible for assisting with timely and accurate maintenance , preparation and issuance of plant and corporate cost statements, including the review of monthly cost statements to ensure the accuracy of ongoing production • Assist with the year end audit, preparation of audited financial statements, and related footnote, including footnote requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA Preferred

BIG 4 EXPERIENCE A MUST!!!!

Mining or Manufacturing Experience

KNOWLEDGE OF IFRS Standards
