Requirements
  • Existing relationships in the wholesale, independent asset management and saving banks, with capacity to prospect new external relationships
  • Strong understanding of the Asset Management industry, including active and passive strategies
  • Deep background in the ETF landscape with competitor, product, and capital markets familiarity
  • Proven track record of developing key internal and external partnerships with sales teams and individuals
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently
  • Experience developing and executing on a data driven sales business plan within a defined channel or region
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
Responsibilities
  • Client coverage and prospecting including cold calls of key contacts and potential ETF users in Germany, responding to client inquiries and providing ongoing communication with clients and prospects
  • Develop deep relationships across the client base with particular emphasis on investment decision makers, portfolio managers, traders, etc.
  • Close collaboration with internal teams (in particular Client Advisors selling mutual funds) and sharing best practices and ideas across teams
  • Scheduling and attending meetings alone but also with local teams´ co-coverage
  • Usage and maintenance of the CRM system
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations to prospective and existing clients at meetings, conferences, road-shows and via telephone/zoom
  • Drive attendance to roadshows and events
  • Leverage a consultative sales approach across channel to drive net new ETF assets
  • Engage clients in discussions about new product concepts and solutions to help solve complex client challenges

Imf Warns Of Vulnerabilities In The Private Lending Industry

A new International Monetary Fund (IMF) report spotlights trouble in the private lending sector. More than 40% of the companies who borrowed from private lenders had, at the end of 2024, negative cash flow from their operations, the IMF’s Global Financial Stability report said. The report pointed to concern in the market that the decline in borrowers’ credit quality has yet to appear in accounting valuations. And as private equity funds are being pressured to sell investments to provide returns to investors, PE “funds are increasingly levering up their acquired companies to fund special dividends to be distributed to LPs, thereby further straining borrowers’ debt sustainability,” per the report

Phixius And Kinexys Liink Partner To Enhance Account Validation Coverage

Phixius by Nacha and Kinexys Liink established information exchanges between their payment information networks. The collaboration will enhance account validation coverage for financial institutions, FinTechs and corporations, the companies said in a Friday (April 25) press release. Phixius, which is a peer-to-peer payment information network, will serve as Kinexys Liink’s key U.S. payment information network responder, enabling near real-time validation of domestic bank account data, according to the release
