Job Description:
The Director of Oncology is responsible for oversight of oncology services at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital . The Director is accountable for operations, quality and management of the oncology services areas and will work with the Regional Oncology Service Line Director to develop and implement strategies to enhance quality, access, safety, and growth.

This is an exempt, full-time position located in Grand Junction, Colorado. To show our commitment to you and assist with your transition into our organization, we may offer a sign-on and relocation bonus when applicable.
With this position, you are eligible to participate in an annual pay-for-performance opportunity (“AP4P”). This plan enables Intermountain Health to provide leaders with an additional performance compensation opportunity. The AP4P opportunities are calculated as a percentage of your base salary. Awards are paid out based on attainment of selected Intermountain Health Board-approved goals.
As the Oncology Director you will:
Manage, coordinate, integrate, plan, grow and develop, evaluate, and direct Oncology Services, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, infusion services, and mammography.
Drive continued growth and evolution of the services including development of key performance analytics to measure financial, clinical, quality, and market success against established performance goals to ensure success and to support the Mission of Intermountain Health.
Engage and support services at the care sites to define and implement processes that promote high quality clinical outcomes and value, collaborative physician and care site relationships, regulatory compliance, operational efficiencies, and positive customer experiences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in health care or business relevant area is required.
Five (5) years of experience in a healthcare management and/or service line administration role is required.
Previous experience working with physicians across multiple specialties and engaging in collaborative relationships to achieve mutually beneficial objectives is required.
Highly prefer previous Oncology experience

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$57.75 - $89.14
