Required Skills
  • 5+ years’ experience with hands-on coding expertise in the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field
  • Experience on implementing end-to-end Service Catalog, Incident Management, Configuration and maintenance of Asset Management (Hardware and Software)
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async
  • Experience working with Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management modules
  • Experience working with ITSM and Integration Hub
  • Experience with Workflow designer and Flow designer
  • Experience with scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware, and other enterprise integrating technologies
  • Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, coding, testing, deployment, and support
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and product owners to drive technical design for requirements of various use cases
  • Research and adopt the right technologies to improve scalability and productivity
  • Standardize processes for the complete development cycle including design, implementation, unit testing, code review, testing automation, etc.
  • Ability to review existing code, troubleshoot, break fixes, and identify code changes in ServiceNow JavaScript
  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code
  • RESTful API Integration experience between ServiceNow and external systems is a must
  • Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement
