Erie startup Eventio secures $100K investment to scale AI-powered event planning platform

Erie-based startup Eventio has relaunched its AI-powered event-planning platform and secured $100,000 from the Erie Revitalization Fund. The investment will support marketing efforts as founder Erin Kerner targets national and global expansion. The platform features an AI copilot to help users plan weddings, galas, and other events. Kerner revamped the site to include four distinct areas serving professional planners, organisations, self-planners, and vendors. Kerner, a former basketball star who worked in fashion, previously served as Louis Vuitton's director of client events. She co-created Eventio with Barry Snyder, who remains a minority owner. Ben Franklin Technology Partners has previously invested $75,000 in Eventio. The company is testing in Pennsylvania markets including Erie, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia before pursuing broader expansion.
