Stream Data Centers names chief HR officer as apollo-era leadership buildout continues.

Stream Data Centers names chief HR officer as apollo-era leadership buildout continues. Nikki Kresse most recently served as chief experience and people officer at senior living operator Lifespace Communities. She is at least the eighth executive appointment or promotion Dallas-based Stream Data Centers has announced since Apollo took majority control in August 2025. [Photo: Stream Data Centers] Dallas-based Stream Data Centers has named Nikki Kresse its chief human resources officer. She is joining an executive bench that has been evolving since Apollo funds took majority control of the hyperscale developer in August 2025. Demand for digital infrastructure is driving the expansion of Stream's platform, markets and capabilities, the company said. The company said it is making a deliberate investment in its organizational infrastructure to support its next phase of growth. As chief human resources officer, Kresse will work with Stream's executive leadership team on strengthening the company's leadership and talent. She also is charged with advancing culture and building scalable people systems. She will help evolve the organizational and operating models that let the business execute as it grows. From senior living to hyperscale Kresse arrives from Lifespace Communities, a not-for-profit Dallas-based senior living company with roughly 15 communities across seven states, where she served as chief experience and people officer. She brings executive experience leading organizations through significant growth phases, Stream said. "Nikki's appointment represents an important investment in Stream's future," CEO Michael Lahoud said in a statement. "Our people have always been one of our greatest competitive advantages. As we continue to grow, our ability to attract and develop exceptional talent, strengthen our culture and build an organization that can scale with the opportunities ahead becomes even more critical." "What attracted me most to Stream was the opportunity to help scale an organization with an extraordinary foundation and with some of the industry's most kind, smart, honest and passionate people at its center," Kresse said. "As companies grow, talent, culture and organizational capability become increasingly important enablers. I look forward to working alongside the leadership team to build on what makes Stream special while creating the clarity, accountability, capabilities and scalable systems that will help us continue delivering exceptional results for our customers." A year of leadership moves Kresse is the most recent in a run of senior hires and promotions at Stream. New York City-based Apollo acquired a majority interest in the company from Dallas' Stream Realty Partners in August 2025. At that time, Stream said it was positioned to execute on a multi-gigawatt pipeline while enabling Apollo funds and its affiliates to potentially deploy "billions of dollars" into next-generation digital infrastructure. Roughly four months later, Stream expanded its commercial leasing team with the hires of Stacy Medeiros, senior vice president of hyperscale, and Santiago Suinaga, senior vice president of cloud and hyperscale. In January, the company promoted 15-year veteran Michael Lahoud from co-managing partner to CEO. At the same time, it added Chief Development Officer Oisin O Murchu and Vice President of Sustainability Amanda Abel, while expanding the role of Chief Operating Officer Rick Crutchley. And in May, it named Murray Woolcock chief financial officer and Scott Greubel executive vice president of construction.
