Armanino’s Tax practice seeks a dynamic, experienced Go-to-Market tax partner to lead the Corporate Tax practice in our New York offices. Here’s what we’re looking for:
Strong business network in the technology industry within the New York area, build and maintain client relationships, and expand the firm’s corporate tax client base.
Collaborate with technology industry leaders and other NYC partners to develop and maintain key client relationships and generate new opportunities.
Play a key role in proposal delivery, client presentations, and execution of strategic firm initiatives.
Stay current on corporate tax regulations, industry trends, and best practices to provide valuable insights and guidance to clients.
Well versed in GAAP ASC 740 under both AICPA and PCAOB standards, especially servicing clients with Big4 auditors
Ability to act as your client’s “VP of Tax” when the Company has no, or a very small tax function.
Work closely with firm leadership to develop and execute the corporate tax go-to-market strategy for the New York region, especially as it relates to the technology industry.
Attract and retain top talent to build a best-in-class corporate tax team.
Collaborate with other business units to identify and expand relationships for various service offerings.
Speak at industry events and position Armanino as a thought leader in corporate tax within the New York market.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA required).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate tax, with a proven track record of leadership and business development.
Proven ability to mentor, coach and develop teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills and abilities
Strong tax technical background along with a curiosity to stay current on key tax law changes.
