Who we are looking for
The Alternatives Investment Servicing team is looking for an excellent team player with 5+ years’ experience in building Data Warehousing solutions, preferably using Oracle, with more recent exposure to Snowflake and/or Delta Lake technologies. The resource will have to understand the business requirements, design, develop, test and deploy applications and data pipelines.
What you will be responsible for
As a Data Warehousing Developer you will
- Design, build and test end to end data pipeline including data ingestion (streaming, events, and batch)
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines on cloud-based infrastructure using Azure, Snowflake, Cosmos DB
- Work extensively on Databricks, Oracle RDBMS and general Data Warehousing patterns.
- Tune the database objects having performance issues
- Support in resolving Production issues
- Be part of an Agile team and develop dataflows using Snowflake, Oracle PL/SQL, Databricks

- Expert Knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
- Good experience in using tools like TOAD/SQL Developer
- Well versed with Data Warehousing concepts, design and implementation
- Recent exposure on Cloud Data Warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
- Experience performing data analysis and data exploration
- Basic knowledge of Unix & shell scripting
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in a relevant discipline is a must
- 5+ years of development experience in IT field
- Certifications on Oracle, Azure and Snowflake are preferred
Additional requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner both written and orally
- Be a team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, and self-motivation
- Ability to multi-task, meet aggressive timelines and have strong work ethics
- Experience of working in the financial industry
- Experience with agile development methodology
- Any experience on Databricks, Scala and Snowflake is plus
- Experience on Cosmos DB, Apache Airflow is plus
- Experience in micro-services architecture and understanding of Cloud Computing (Azure and/or AWS) is highly desirable

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $160,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
