Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar discipline (CFA or CAIA a plus)
  • +4 years of relevant financial services industry experience (including a prior experience in a Big 4 as a consultant or an auditor) with good understanding of alternative industry operations.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, IFRS knowledge required
  • Familiarity with a wide range of valuation approaches (e.g. Income, Market)
  • Knowledge of the local regulatory requirements in relation to AIFM (e.g., circ. CSSF 18/698) and Luxembourg Funds (e.g., UCITS, UCI Part II (FCP, SICAV), SCSp, RAIF).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint required (ability to produce creative, compelling, detailed reporting materials). Strong appetite to use of technology.

  • Fluent in English, both written and oral.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing the investment committee memo in the context of the first-time valuation
  • Reviewing the third-party valuation reports
  • Reviewing the internal valuation material
  • Produce investment valuation analysis at fund level and presentations to BEFM’s management team
  • Lead discussions with Blackstone valuation teams
  • Execute ad hoc projects and generate monthly and quarterly reporting for management team and Boards
  • Assist in the Due Diligence of valuation teams
  • Reviewing the NAV and producing a NAV analytical review for management
  • Reconciling investments portfolio with NAV
  • Updating Finance database with key indicators at NAV frequency
  • Participating to the new fund onboardings in the context of valuation and NAV matters
  • Proposing improvements of the valuations and NAV processes, enhancement of procedures and processes as well as the use of offshore resources and technology
  • Maintain and develop a strong collaboration with other teams
  • Manage responsibilities and tasks assigned to the offshore consultants
  • BEFM and Global Finance and Asset Management – develop collaboration with the US, APAC and EMEA teams to solve problems, achieve results and develop best practices
  • Preparing management information for the Management Committee meetings and BEFM & Fund Board Meetings
  • Other general administrative tasks.
