Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of practical support services experience in healthcare or related setting
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Diplomacy, organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage complex internal and external relationships, displaying maturity and integrity with a high degree of professionalism
  • Work effectively under stressful situations
  • Broad based administration and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Skilled in Spreadsheet softwares and Payroll systems
Responsibilities
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintains files in an organized and professional manner
  • Creates and manages the schedules for the medical staff, including Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, Hospitalists, Emergency Department Providers, Surgeons, and other Providers
  • Interview management, collaboration with HR, scheduling interviews, compiling interview evaluations, completes new hire paperwork and ensures appropriate medical staff are set up with scheduling software
  • Works with the Accounting Department to complete biweekly payroll for the medical staff group
  • Administers activities of the medical staff team including data management and project planning.
  • Identifies areas of improvement relating to administrative efficiency and develops plans to improve performance
  • Develops plan for follow through on assignments. Assures that decisions and recommendations made at meeting are completed in a timely manner.
  • Composes correspondence as appropriate
  • Other duties, as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Associates of Bachelors degree, preferred
  • Knowledge of hospital service area and related institutions, preferred
