- One to three years of experience in information technology support, desktop management, or systems administration.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Technical proficiency in Windows 11 and Windows Server administration, Microsoft Office 365, and networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, switching, and routing protocols.
- Understanding of Windows, Red Hat Linux, and macOS operating systems, networking, and virtualization.
- Experience with Active Directory, mobile device management tools such as Intune and LogMeIn, endpoint security solutions, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Knowledge or exposure to cloud platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Amazon Web Services.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in audited environments, follow established processes, conduct remote support sessions, and manage technical documentation.
- CompTIA Security+ certification or progress toward the certification.
- Support Windows 11 laptops and desktops, peripherals, Windows servers, and voice over internet protocol phone systems.
- Troubleshoot applications and operating systems while providing technical user support.
- Conduct remote support sessions using remote session tools and perform software and system deployment and patching.
- Monitor systems and networks, manage information technology assets through asset management systems, and work with issue and ticket tracking systems.
- Document technical procedures and solutions clearly and communicate with team members and end users.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation and independently research and resolve technical problems.
- Maintain documented processes within audited environments.
- Familiarity with JIRA, remote support tools, and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
