Required Skills
  • Must hold a valid 4th Class Power Engineering certification or higher.
  • 1 to 3 years related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawing schematics of machinery.
  • Ability to follow OEM specifications and schematics (hydraulic, pneumatic).
  • Previous PLC knowledge is an asset.
  • Mechanically inclined with manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
  • Able to pass a fit test mask and TRST supplied by Company.
  • Experience in a Food Processing & Cooking Meat Facility is an asset.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Success-driven with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as a strong team player.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good attendance and safety record.
  • Operate and maintain stationary mechanical equipment like steam boilers and ammonia refrigeration plants.
  • Provide utilities, heating, and cooling for buildings and industrial processes.
  • Read meters and gauges, troubleshoot equipment problems, and perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Record data, adjust controls, visually inspect equipment, and maintain equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, generate parts requests, and complete work orders.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, perform general housekeeping, and operate and maintain effluent treatment plant.
  • Have full knowledge of Emergency Response Plan, check and verify Fire Alarm system, and perform maintenance tasks.
  • Perform repair, replacement, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on various systems and components.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, CMMS System, and Email effectively.
