About Us

OTI Lumionics is developing advanced materials—by design—using quantum simulations, machine learning and real-world testing in pilot production. We are currently focused on key enabling materials for OLED displays that will be used in next-generation consumer electronics and automotive. Our advanced electrode materials, and associated manufacturing technology, are being used to build transparent displays and lighting. We work closely with our partners and customers to design new materials that are mass-production ready. Using our computational Materials Discovery Platform, we are able to rapidly iterate new materials, allowing fast turn around time to meet our customers’ needs.

Primary Responsibilities

·Prepare forecast models as required for management review

·Prepare monthly financial reports and presentation for management review

·Review or Process monthly journal and adjusting entries for foreign exchange, convertible debt, interest accruals, prepaid items, capital expenditures, and any other accruals as required.

·Manage expense claim reconciliations, review appropriate coding, and ensure compliance with company policies

·Ensure accounts payable invoices appropriately coded to the respective accounts

·Process supplier and expense payments on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring suppliers are paid on time as long as cash position allows

·Reconcile payroll to the General Ledger as required

·Ensure Credit Card and Bank Accounts are reconciled on a daily basis

·Prepare Quarterly HST Returns

·Review Monthly/Quarterly Account Reconciliations

·Review accounting processes as required and recommend any changes to CFO

·Manage the annual audit

·Prepare annual audited financial statements with detailed notes and schedules.

·Perform other ad hoc duties as required

Profile

·CPA or CPA Candidate nearing completion of CPA Designation within 1-2 years

·Possess bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent

·Present strong 5-6 years of full-cycle accounting and financial analysis related experience in various industries and both public & private companies

Required Skills

·Present advanced level Excel Skills with knowledge in V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Scenarios, IF statements, most formulas & functions, and basic macros

·Proactive and strong ability to prioritize tasks

·Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

·Strong ability to work across various teams, individuals both internally and externally of the organization presenting teamwork and leadership skills
