- Implement automation frameworks for middleware and backend service-based applications in critical infrastructure design.
- Design and execute automated tests on the latest software revisions.
- Participate in developing the automated testing framework and support the transition to automated testing in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment.
- Interpret requirements from existing manual test cases and specification documents.
- Liaise with manual testers and business analysts to understand requirements.
- Liaise with product and development teams to keep the backlog up to date.
- Provide estimates of the test effort required to complete work.
- Raise bugs and liaise with the development team from discovery through resolution.
- Set up and configure the testing environment and associated databases.
- Work frequently with the DevOps team to ensure smooth product delivery from beginning to end.
- Prepare the test execution report and share it with stakeholders.
- Experience using Azure DevOps.
- Experience using Selenium and Playwright or equivalent tools.
- Experience using the latest artificial intelligence tools.
- Experience implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Experience testing user interfaces and databases.
- ISTQB or ISEB Foundation certification, equivalent certification, or progress toward achieving such certification.
- Experience using virtual machines, including Hyper-V or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience coordinating with external or offshore quality assurance resources.
- Experience working with UK clients and teams.
- Experience with the onshore-offshore model.
- Experience with commercial awareness in areas such as revenue recognition and margin management.
