Requirements
  • Engineers need to know some HW and Wiring architecture knowledge to understand and connect various parts (and trouble shoot the bench issues)
  • Should have experience in writing test cases from Vehicle Function (VF) Requirement documents for Automotive components (BCM, CGM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Vehicle Model Electrical bench is required
  • Have you used any tools to run the test cases on HIL (Hardware in Loop) bench for BCM and other automotive modules? (NI Software suite (Teststand, Veristand and LabVIEW) is plus)
  • Working knowledge of any automotive HW test benches (HIL) and exposure to Harness Design and connecter Pin out reading
Responsibilities
  • Bench involves connecting 80+ HW parts
  • Worked closely with customers and engineering team to plan, develop, and execute extensive engineering, design, and process validation plans.
  • Draft, review with team, and submit detailed final reports to customer.
  • Worked on configuring the tools (SW and HW) and run the test cases on HIL benches
  • Manage and support a small team of technicians in test setup and operation, harness prototyping and production, fixture development, and test report creation.
  • Organized external testing for validations beyond laboratory capabilities.
  • Validation testing performed while in role: Lighting, tactile, electrical/mechanical durability, acoustics, environmental, vibration, ingress protection, solar degradation, chemical exposure, alongside PCB, X-ray, and microscopic analysis
