Overview:

Join AvePoint’s Data Analytics team for a full-time summer internship, designed for enthusiasts eager to dive into the world of data within a SaaS framework. Your mission is to leverage the scientific method in crafting and conducting web experiments, aimed at enhancing the online experience, boosting conversion rates, and refining lead quality. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop a machine learning model dedicated to optimizing lead scoring.

What You’ll Do

In this dynamic role, you’ll merge theory with practice under the guidance of seasoned data analysts. Your goal: to amplify our digital footprint, ensuring we engage more effectively with our target demographic. This entails driving superior-quality traffic to our site and transforming a higher percentage of leads into prospective AvePoint patrons.

Your tasks will include, but won’t be limited to:

- Employing a variety of analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, SEMrush) to dissect our website’s content and conversion Your objective: pinpoint high-performing pages and those with untapped SEO potential for our target groups.

- Undertaking data-informed research to unearth customer insights, highlighting areas ripe for our website’s content and user experience enhancement.

- Collaborating with teams across marketing, product, and design spheres to push forward optimization tactics and gauge their success using web experimentation tools like VWO.

- Tracking brand-related search trends via Google Search Console and leveraging internal data on acquisition and conversion to draw connections across the marketing funnel.

- Gaining insights into AvePoint’s business and marketing analytics

- Supporting the Data Analytics squad with daily operations and embracing a variety of additional tasks as needed.

- Presenting a comprehensive project at summer’s end, showcasing your learnings and achievements throughout the internship.

Skills and Qualifications:

Analytical Skills, specifically:

   - Exploratory Data Analysis, data cleaning, extracting summary statistics, univariate analysis (Histogram, Frequency Distribution/Histogram), and advanced statistical techniques (ECDF, Correlation Table, etc.).

   - Proficiency in designing and conducting A/B tests and deriving insights from results

   - Knowledge of Linear and Logistic Regression, additional machine learning techniques is a plus 

Technical skills: While not mandatory, familiarity with any of the following technologies will be beneficial:

   - Analytics Stack: PowerBI/Excel, Python/R, SQL, Visual Studio Code Editor, GitHub.

   - Marketing Technology Stack: VWO, Segment, Google Analytics/Google Ads, SEMrush/Ahref/Spyfu, Hotjar

Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
