  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Expertise developing lightweight custom battery modules and mechanical packaging for electrical systems.
  • A strong background in battery and electronics thermal management strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with design of experiments and performance and validation test protocols.
  • Proficiency with advanced computer-aided design tools such as SOLIDWORKS or Siemens NX, or similar platforms, and capability with manufacturing prototyping.
  • Expertise in tolerance analysis and application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per industry standards.
  • Skill in finite element analysis, including static structural and modal evaluations.
  • A proven track record managing engineering projects under fast-paced, ambiguous, or evolving priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Architect, engineer, and optimize lightweight, swappable battery systems for robotic applications, emphasizing safety, weight reduction, and reliability.
  • Lead design, validation, performance, endurance, and life-cycle testing of battery subsystems, including testing methodologies and data analysis.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues through failure analysis, root-cause investigations, design iteration, and empirical validation.
  • Guide contract manufacturers and scaling partners through preparation for high-volume production transitions, ensuring manufacturability and quality.
  • Collaborate with reliability, electrical, and firmware engineers to implement best practices for high-reliability mechanical and electrical integration.
  • Develop custom test fixtures, write test protocols, execute tests, and analyze measurement data to inform design improvements.
  • Design battery docking and interface components and support development of ancillary robotic subsystems as needed.
  • Oversee prototyping using diverse manufacturing processes and material choices for battery and electronics enclosures.
  • Execute tolerance analysis, apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and perform static structural and modal finite element analysis simulations to validate mechanical robustness.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience developing robotics or consumer electronics products in high-performance, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead projects from concept through full-scale deployment in demanding environments.
  • Skill in using artificial intelligence tools to enhance mechanical engineering workflows, improve efficiency, or elevate design quality.
  • Ongoing engagement with artificial-intelligence-driven methodologies, such as prompt engineering and agent orchestration, or a commitment to staying current with emerging technologies.

Delart provides engineering services by partnering with technology firms to execute long-term product visions in telecommunications and consumer electronics. It assigns teams across the full product development lifecycle—from wireless systems and RF/antenna design to embedded hardware/firmware, silicon, software/ML, and high-performance networking. Projects move from concept to prototyping and testing, using mmWave, ORAN radios, 5G, and Wi-Fi standards to validate designs. The company differentiates itself by leveraging founder Alireza Tarighat Mehrabani’s SpaceX and Broadcom background, along with a strong patent portfolio and IEEE publications, and by acting as an extended engineering arm for ongoing collaborations. Its goal is to help tech firms reach development milestones and turn long-term visions into scalable products.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Delart still posted Sunnyvale and Redmond openings in 2026, signaling active demand.
  • Its website updated in 2026 lists Santa Monica, Sunnyvale, Ontario, and Shenzhen offices.
  • Two H-1B filings in fiscal 2026 show continued engineering hiring.

What critics are saying

  • Delart relies on project work; contract cancellations can instantly idle engineering teams.
  • No funded product portfolio exists, so revenue depends on client concentration and renewals.
  • If major wireless programs move in-house, Delart becomes replaceable by 2027.

What makes Delart unique

  • Alireza Tarighat Mehrabani brings SpaceX and Broadcom wireless silicon credibility.
  • Delart spans RF, embedded software, silicon design, and systems testing in one services shop.
  • Its 2026 openings stress EMC, automation, and wireless validation across consumer electronics.
