Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required
  • 10+ years related debt capital markets and treasury experience
  • Experience serving as deal lead across a variety of capital raising activities and structures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to oversee and direct complex financial modeling
  • Detail oriented and effective verbal and written communication skills across diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to take a clean slate approach and adapt to a fast paced and continually changing and growing business
  • Ability to lead and develop a world class team to expand the capital markets function
Responsibilities
  • Source, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of funding transactions including but not limited to secured and unsecured debt, convertible debt, working capital facilities, off-balance sheet financing, leases, etc
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to identify funding opportunities and recommend new funding strategies
  • Work closely with management to develop, analyze, and execute on Rivian's capital roadmap
  • Maintain and grow relationship with banking partners, capital providers, and rating agencies
  • Monitor and manage debt facilities, including interest expense, covenant reporting and compliance
  • Manage Rivian's funding requirements and build liquidity risk management framework
  • Any other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the position
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus
