- Assist with monthly rent payments and accounts reconciliation.
- Recognize and book prepaid and accrued expenses.
- Process journal entries as needed and assist with the year-end 1099 report.
- Respond to vendor and landlord inquiries regarding payment status.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close, including accounts payable reconciliations and accruals.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation related to the accounts payable process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and healthcare regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable and lease-related payment processes.
- NetSuite or other accounting software experience.
- Experience with multi-location medical practices or leased medical offices.
- Familiarity with lease agreements and expense allocations.
- Experience with 1099 preparation and reporting.
- Audit support or internal controls experience.
