- A high school diploma or General Educational Development credential, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Basic knowledge of state laws and regulations regarding beer, wine, and liquor.
- Arrive on time with a neat and clean appearance.
- Greet guests and carry on appropriate conversations while continuing to perform other duties.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including decks and patios.
- Card anyone who appears to be under 30 years of age.
- Cut off alcohol service to anyone who becomes intoxicated.
- Help keep the bar stocked.
- Contribute to the team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for resort cleanliness and guest and employee safety, accepting diverse assignments, and maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor in internal and external interactions.
- Implement the elements of the operation plan that apply to the bar according to the manager’s instructions.
