  • You have a Bachelor or College degree in a business or science-related field
  • You have 1 year related work experience in a similar role and/or certifications related to Procurement (SCMP, CSCP, CPIM, SCM Diploma, etc.)

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and processing requisitions, creating purchase orders, and placing orders with suppliers
  • Monitoring open orders and expediting overdue orders
  • Responding to internal inquiries pertaining to placed orders
  • Working closely with internal teams to set-up standing and blanket orders
  • Sourcing commodity items for internal teams (including IT, Facilities and R&D)
  • Interfacing between suppliers and internal teams regarding purchases and product/service issues
  • Assisting in the development of a standardized procurement process documentation
  • Assisting with identifying areas for process improvements and cost savings
  • Representing the procurement team in cross-functional team meetings
  • Providing support to other teams in completing various cross-functional projects
