  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in configuration management (an equivalent combination of education experience may be considered).
  • Proficiency in the application of configuration management principles in the embedded software development domain.
  • Knowledge and background in applying Configuration Management principles in software development.
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management in a highly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints.
  • Proficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience with a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (i.e., Teamcenter, 3DExperience, Windchill, etc.) preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (i.e., SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Requirements Management (RM) software (i.e., IBM DOORS, Jama, etc.) preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Provide configuration management support, by company policies and/or applicable industry standards, for multiple programs.
  • Maintain required configuration management records.
  • Support internal and external audits, as needed, within Systems Engineering.
  • Operate, input, and lead configuration and documentation status using various electronic systems.
  • Prepare agenda for various engineering review board meetings (i.e., Configuration Control Board (CCB), Problem Review Board (PRB), etc.).
  • Provide necessary data and engineering documentation to support technical meetings.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities that improve the success of the department and the division.
  • Up to 10% of domestic and international travel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
