- Certificate in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience as a robot technician, QA for robotics or equivalent field
- Demonstrated strong technical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Linux, GitLab are highly desirable
- Experience with ROS, RVIZ and other robotic software
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding cross functional team member
- Enthusiastic about learning new things and being hands on with robots and other hardware
- Currently reside in Austin or willing to relocate to Austin
- Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
- Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems (i.e. Jira Dashboards), including root cause and corrective actions
- Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
- Cross-Team collaboration to gain a deeper understanding of robot features and behaviors
- Develop new standards for robot software production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines (hardware, operations and software)
- Conduct Feature-based, Integration, Release & Regression Testing
- Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of new features, behaviors and releases to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables
- Define and enforce QA Best practices
- Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines
- Develop and/or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure capture and investigation, as well as proper documentation of issues
- Maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development
- Maintain and upgrade the Test Environment as required
