ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Outside Sales Representative in South Carolina, you’ll have the opportunity to directly solve some of healthcare’s toughest challenges. This mission-oriented role is dedicated to connecting people, including the underserved communities, to high quality, value-based care. You’ll be responsible for meeting with community partners and converting prospects into members, measured by completion of newly scheduled initial patient visits.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Operate on the ground in Greenville, SC and Myrtle Beach, SC across multiple settings to prompt people to join Galileo as patients.

- Partner with local Clinical Operations, Marketing and Growth to build and nurture trusting relationships with community stakeholders and senior-focused organizations (e.g. food banks, senior centers, etc.).
- Build strong individual relationships with health plan agents, insurance brokers, social workers, discharge planners, etc. to generate leads.
- Conduct one-on-one and group presentations (including planning/promotion, collateral development, etc.) and advance individual leads through the deliberation process with the objective of converting leads into members.
- Partner with local Clinical Operations to ensure a supportive and welcoming onboarding process for new members.
- Maintain a calendar of key activities and initiatives in target markets, and document prospective member information and interactions in customer relationship management (CRM) system.
About You
You bring to the Galileo team your sales orientation and passion to connect people to healthcare that meets them on their own terms. The Outside Sales Representative will be an empathic individual who supercharges incredible listening skills with a knowledgeable and educational perspective. You keep prospects on the line, finding their motivation to say yes. To be successful, you must have a resourceful, creative, and compliance-adherent approach with an aim to close. This includes partnering cross-functionally in real-time. You thrive in a flexible start-up environment where changing workflows and systems/tools may be frequent, and are eager to offer suggestions for improvements. Multilingual skills and nuanced regional/cultural understanding are bonus points!
We would love to hear from you if you have the following or equivalent experience:
- Interest in tying production to compensation
- Flexibility to engage partners outside of traditional hours including nights and weekends, at your discretion
- Willingness to travel up to 90% locally and regionally
- Reliable access to personal transportation [NC/SC only]
- Familiarity with Medicare Advantage, senior populations, and/or referral partners preferred
- Previous sales experience, within or outside of healthcare, preferred
- For the safety of our patients and staff, employees in this role must be fully vaccinated with all necessary vaccinations. This includes a booster for a completed COVID-19 vaccination.
COMPENSATION RANGE: $38,000 - $50,000 for base salary & a bonus structure of up to 50%, based upon prior experience, performance, and market dynamics.
