Senior Director, Product Management Automation (Workflows and AtSpoke)

Okta has launched a new product to empower IT and Security teams with more automation. More automation to eliminate repetitive manual work, setup security alerts, and unlock magical experiences for their users. Unlike existing automation or integration products that require custom code and integrations, Okta Workflows will empower even non-technical users to create “if this then that” flows in minutes.
With lots of early success, we are looking for an innovative and seasoned product leader to launch and grow this product. Success means inspiring a product and engineering team to build game changing products, making your customers successful and delivering on this huge business opportunity. If you are passionate about the intersection of consumer experiences and large scale enterprise products, we are looking for you.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand your product’s users and broader market context
- Own the product vision and connect it back to near term roadmaps
- Lead and manage a team of product managers and help them grow their careers
- Collaborate closely with Architects, Engineers and Designers to identify platform opportunities
- Serve as the cross-functional leader internally to drive the adoption and success of your product
- Ensure flawless execution through management of yearly and quarterly objectives
- Align your vision and roadmap with company and business objectives
- Work cross functionality to ensure the overall success of your product
Qualifications
- Thirst for learning, able to go broad and deep across business and technical contexts
- Track record of owning and delivering on large strategic projects - you can see the big picture, but deliver on the details
- Strong technical background that allows you to influence technical design and investment decisions
- You can produce solid action plans from often incomplete, conflicting or ambiguous inputs
- Strong track record of leading teams and operating effectively as player-coach
- Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences
- Strong leadership skills and executive presence
- Passion for Okta’s huge opportunity and growth potential
- 10+ years product management experience
- 5+ years of people management experience
Preferred
- Experience with highly usable B2B productivity products
- Experience managing a product led growth function
- Advanced degree in technical or business field

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$226,000—$349,997 USD
The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$251,000—$389,000 USD
