- Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
- Ability to identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested.
- Ability to prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
- Ability to inspect and maintain service vehicles, including keeping service records and scheduling repairs and maintenance.
- Ability to inspect equipment for signs of wear and report findings to customers or the Operations Manager.
- Ability to complete job paperwork and maintain files, including daily time, progress, duration, parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and cost data.
- Ability to determine repair parts and order them according to need and timing.
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
- Ability to provide technical support to customers.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
- Willingness to travel regularly, including some overnight travel.
- Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Document each job, complete required paperwork and reports, and maintain files.
- Determine and order parts for repairs and return unused resources.
- Keep current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair information.
- Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
- Provide technical support to customers.
