Requirements
  • At least six months of administrative, scheduling, or data-entry experience, preferably in a military, federal, or comparable corporate environment.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management system or maintenance management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to prepare professional correspondence, maintain spreadsheets, and manage electronic calendars.
  • Ability to produce written documents with accurate grammar, spelling, punctuation, and professional formatting.
  • Technical ability to set up and support virtual classroom environments using Microsoft Teams.
  • Basic knowledge of military protocol, military customs and courtesies, and Air Force and Department of the Air Force terminology.
  • Ability to interact professionally with military members, retirees, families, and Government personnel.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain Transition Assistance Program information.
  • Organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to safeguard sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Successful completion and maintenance of a favorable federal background investigation and Common Access Card for installation and Government network access.
Responsibilities
  • Schedule Transition Assistance Program appointments and maintain accurate Microsoft Outlook calendars.
  • Enter, update, and maintain participant records in Government databases and tracking systems.
  • Monitor telephones and organizational email inboxes and respond to customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate Transition Assistance Program workshop scheduling and participant registration.
  • Prepare classrooms, training materials, and audiovisual equipment before scheduled classes.
  • Verify participant attendance and maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Assist Service Members with required Transition Assistance Program forms and documentation.
  • Provide professional front-desk reception and administrative support.
  • Maintain inventory and accountability of Government-issued classroom equipment and materials.
  • Protect Personally Identifiable Information and other sensitive Government information in accordance with applicable policies.
  • Support emergency operations and other administrative functions as assigned by the Military and Family Readiness Center.
