Requirements
- Maintain a current, unrestricted California registered nurse license.
- Have three years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Provide proof of a negative tuberculosis result.
- Provide physical screening documentation from within the last year.
- Have an active California driver's license and car insurance.
- Have a cell phone with internet access.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, intravenous therapy, and monitoring of chronic and acute conditions.
- Manage and monitor patients with complex needs, including ventilators, tracheostomies, and feeding tubes.
- Recognize early signs of deterioration and intervene appropriately.
- Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and equipment use.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Ensure compliance with home health regulations and infection control practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide ongoing feedback to clients, client representatives, and nurses.
