Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience with cloud application development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Successful track record of developing and maintaining reliable, scalable, traceable and performant distributed systems to customers in a production cloud environment
- Extensive experience with building and using REST APIs
- Experience with:
- Java or similar programming languages
- Distributed systems
- Agile development and is comfortable decomposing complex problem statements and comfortable coordinating activities of other personnel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - You are confident in writing down and presenting your designs and decisions throughout the development lifecycle
- Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent)
- Production experience using Amazon Web Services
- Distributed in-memory datastore (Redis, Memcached, Hazelcast or equivalent)
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain services that are relied upon by large customers on a daily basis
- Design and implement complex solutions by collaborating with tech leads and architects
- Collaborate with the talented global team including the product manager to solutionize, design and review solutions to deliver a meaningful product for the customers
- Own solutions across all the software development lifecycle from conceptualization to production deployment
- The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $109,280.00 - $136,600.00
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan
