Requirements
  • A master's degree in business administration, information technology, healthcare administration, or related field
  • Ten (10) years of relevant leadership experience to include IT project management, financial and resource management, strategic planning, workforce/human capital management, legal/compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to envision, plan and support large-scale, enterprise-wide systems
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee overall IT operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drive the development, deployment, and ongoing management of the IT service delivery processes
  • Optimize the use and deployment of technology through standardized processes, resource management, and strategic alignment
  • Ensure EHR integrity and business continuity
  • Partner with MUSC’s academic, clinical, and business leaders, strategic partners, and IT leaders to align strategic objectives with resources capabilities
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success and expertise in IT academic healthcare leadership
  • Progressive IT operations and service leadership experience in a multi-site academic health system organization
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Strong in-person leadership skills and ability to engage with a large team face-to-face
