The Opportunity
Incode is seeking a talented backend engineer to join our global, ambitious, and innovative engineering team remotely in Belgrade! As an engineer at Incode you will have the ability to build from scratch, influence product decisions, collaborate with partner teams in design, customer success, and product, and own a wide scope of responsibilities.
As our company continues to scale at a rapid pace, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our main backend infrastructure and API services. We place a high premium on communication, good design and clean implementation. Above all other factors, we are looking for smart, driven, and ambitious candidates who want to be part of a culture of innovation and creativity as we revolutionize identity.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a new talented team of engineers
- Lead a small but growing team of engineers
- Rapidly build and evolve major features
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Collaborate closely with product, design and management
Requirements:
- BS or MS in EE/CS or other applicable discipline with 3+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Java and Node.js
- Proficiency in SQL and No-SQL(Mongo, Neo4j) based databases
- Experience building web services at scale
- Experience building big data systems is a plus
- Experience with AWS
- Ideally, some experience in Swift, Objective-C, and iOS Frameworks
- 3+ years of test automation experience building highly-reliable, mission critical software
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Experience writing mobile apps for Android is preferred
