  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Audio Systems, Information Technology or a related field preferred
  • RCDD, InfoComm CTS or CTS-D and/or PSP certifications are preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Revit proficiency is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Establish and communicate assignments to team members
  • Oversee team progress and coordinate team activities and goals
  • Identify technology scope and implement design of technology systems in multiple markets
  • Integrate projects, communicate and analyze information, and document project implementation
  • Coordinate project requirements and schedules with other disciplines
  • Design structured cabling systems and specify systems hardware
  • Manage multiple and/or large projects from concept stage through construction
  • Meet with clients to learn user needs and develop engineering concepts and recommendations
  • Negotiate and secure new assignments on major projects
  • Visit job sites to assess conflicts and make recommendations for resolution
  • Oversee the identification of staff members' developmental needs
  • Motivate and provide ongoing mentorship and constructive feedback to project team
  • Evaluate and attract candidates for new positions in the department or the overall firm
  • Check proposal drafts and provide guidance as needed
  • Establish timelines for proposal preparation and clarify necessary content
  • Build external relationships through networking, community, and industry functions
  • Travel from coast to coast to meet project and client needs
  • Perform other duties as required
