Requirements
  • The candidate must be a United States citizen.
  • An active, in-scope United States Government issued Secret clearance is required.
  • Current Department of Defense- Information Assurance Testing and Certification Program (DoD-8570) Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 1 baseline certification such as Network Plus Certified (Net+ CE) or equivalent.
  • Five to seven years of experience providing information technology support services, troubleshooting both hardware and software in mixed environments.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting workstations and laptops across SIPR, NIPR, CENTRIX, and STAMIS networks; Active Directory administration and user support; OS delivery methods such as Altiris Deployment Solution and System Center Configuration Manager; Help Desk ticket tracking systems such as Altiris Help Desk and Remedy; VTC/Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier I–II technical support for SIPR, NIPR, and CENTRIX environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, servers, mobile devices, and audio/visual equipment.
  • Manage and track incidents through Altiris Help Desk and Remedy ticketing systems.
  • Perform system imaging and operating system deployment using Altiris Deployment Solution or System Center Configuration Manager.
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory accounts, permissions, and group policies.
  • Support and troubleshoot network connectivity and configuration issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier III support or system engineers as needed.
  • Ensure all service requests are completed within established service level agreements and documented properly.
  • Provide courteous, professional customer service in all end-user interactions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience providing information technology Tiered Support Services within Defense Information Systems Agency, United States Army Pacific Command, or United States Army Reserve Command environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of Altiris Help Desk Solution, Altiris Deployment Solution, and Altiris Software Delivery.
