Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in transportation operations, resource planning, dispatch management, workforce scheduling, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably overseeing dispatch, scheduling, or high-volume operational teams.
  • A proven track record in operational planning, workforce forecasting, or route launch coordination.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Training, Safety, Compliance, Program Management, Information Technology, and Finance.
  • Experience in data-driven operations, key performance indicator development, and operational reporting.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet operational needs, including occasionally working outside regularly scheduled hours.
  • Willingness to work in outdoor environments, including inclement weather.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, plan, and execute operational plans for current and new service lines, including schedules, routes, vehicle and driver assignments, training, online software, Wi-Fi, GPS tracking, and other aspects of operational success.
  • Ensure all shifts are filled daily.
  • Monitor shuttle operations data for efficiency, identify poor performance, and notify leadership as needed.
  • Ensure the Dispatch Team works to reduce client service-level agreements and maintain 98% on-time performance.
  • Prepare standard weekly and monthly reports or reports requested by leadership.
  • Develop tracking systems, key performance indicators, and other operational data as necessary.
  • Enter data from manual operations reports, invoices, and other sources into existing databases and tracking tools.
  • Use Driver key performance indicators to assist with the Driver Scorecard Incentive program.
  • Partner with operational leaders to communicate successes and improvement opportunities to each Driver.
  • Use coaching, counseling, and field time to professionally develop the Scheduling and Dispatch teams.
  • Create and maintain a succession plan for each team.
  • Process payroll accurately and close payroll workflows.
  • Ensure scheduling templates are accurate.
  • Update and maintain online tools for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Partner with the Safety, Training, and Compliance Team to ensure Drivers are service-ready, Department of Transportation compliant, and properly credentialed for associated accounts.
  • Provide strategic direction for the Dispatch and Scheduling Teams and oversee overall performance in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead team meetings using a servant-leadership approach.
  • Manage multiple high-priority projects and tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience managing payroll workflows, timekeeping systems, or schedule templates.
  • A background in transportation, logistics, shuttle or bus operations, or a Department of Transportation-regulated environment.
